Awesome Video: The Prince Who Kept it Real.
College Humor. Killing it again.
Of course, lately, they've riffed on Barnaked Ladies "One Week" and now The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. Which sounds a lot more like college during my era. I'm just saying.

Awesome Button Pushing: DJ Egadz Flying Fingers.
There's a certain old school part of me that takes a slightly dim view of certain DJ shennanigans. It's like if you but that much effort into rocking an MPC, couldn't you put the same amount of effort into rocking an actual instrument? And perhaps create something original along the way.
Then something like this comes along.
And there's no denying that something very musical is happening here -- with the shifting tempos and such.
Whatever the original material, this shit has been blown up and completely reconstructed as something new.
So check this out. If you must FF til about 1:15 or so. That's when the paint starts coming off the walls.
Well, not that there's any actual paint in the video. Where was it filmed? A basement. Whatever, looks cool.

Un-Awesome Ad: air jordan 2009
either Wieden + Kennedy finally got stupid with their Jordan advertising, they got something big cooked up, or someone got their hands on some sample shoes, clips of Hancock, and made this themselves...we'll see

Awesome Video: Arrested Development. Gone But Not Forgotten.
Don't know where this came from? Extra on a DVD, maybe. But it's pretty great and sums up the frustration that all of us feel about the cancellation of this show.
That said, Arrested Development wasn't for everyone. It's too bad that it didn't orginate on cable or something. On cable you can have an audience of 2 million per episode and last for a few seasons. Sunny in Philly is on it's 4th season and I'd argue that it's way less mainstream than AD (cannibalism as a plot line?).
What I've always heard though is that AD budgetwise was unsustainable just based on how long it took to shoot an episode. All those camera setups cost dough. All those great actors cost dough.
If you've got Philly's four principal unknowns, plus Danny Devito, and just a few main sets, the fiscal side of things makes a lot more sense.

Awesome Ad: burger king lost his wallet
Burger King lost over 5,000 of these wallets around urban hot spots in Chicago and Orlando. Each wallet contained actual cash, ranging from a $1 bill to a $100 bill, a gift card to Burger King, a “Drivers License” featuring The King, and a map of Chicago or Orlando area Burger King’s.

Awesome Game Show: The Game is, Obviously, Secondary.
So in this video, the women appear to be climbing across poles to get, uhh, what, a piece of beef jerky or something? It's a game show. I see the real winners are you, the viewers.
Whatever. Who cares.
The way I read this video is as the French throwing down the gauntlet to the Japanese.
"Hey Japan. You think you make some crazy ass game shows? Check this shit out! Eyeball."
