Zack Synder. Dawn of the Dead Remake: Good. 300: Pretty good. Watchmen: Iffy.

This seems to be ripped from the same cloth as 300. A lot of actors on green screen and amazing visuals. The story beats of 300 and Watchmen always seemed a little secondary to the visual story. I imagine that'll be true of this as well.

So the actual awesome of this trailer is about 75% -- I mean Paul Scheer beats up a damn kangaroo -- but I'm still awarding it 100% awesome based on potential.

And part of me is a little sad. Because every successful post-Human Giant show that Rob, Aziz, or Paul is involved in is one more nail in the coffin of HG. Sigh. So just for old times sake, here's some HG. One of my favorites, Camping Weekend.

so how does vw follow up a musical stairway and a trashcan with sound effects? with a slide, a shopping cart skateboard and a rocket ship elevator. the elevator's my least favorite cause it's the only one of the 3 that doesn't speed up the process any. but it's still awesome cause it's fun!
