Awesome Ad: St John Ambulance - "Helpless"

St John Ambulance - Helpless from Matthew Towell on Vimeo.

Awesome Ad: Duracell - Trust Your Power

Even if I wasn't a 49er and Patrick Willis fan, this would be an awesome spot. Great evolution from the battery brand.

And just in case you haven't seen ESPN's E:60 on Patrick Willis, "The Good Life", check it out. His story is nothing short of amazing.

Awesome Movie: 42

No one has worn the number 42 in Major League Baseball since 1997. Now, the story of Jackie Robinson makes its way through Hollywood. I hope Warner Bros. does him justice. via Hypebeast.

Awesome Program: ABSOLUT - UNIQUE

4 million bottles, each one unique. Very impressive and cool.

Awesome Ad: EA Sports NHL 13 - "Our Game"

There may not be a season so this game is going to have to do a lot of heavy lifting. With everything going on (or not going on) in hockey, this spot does a great job of reminding people that it's the game that matters. Even to casual fans like myself.

Awesome Trailer: NBA 2K13 - USA Basketball

I usually hate buying sports games every year. It always seems like a waste of money buying a whole new game for a tiny upgrade. But NBA 2K13 has the '92 Dream Team and the 2012 Olympic Team. This could be epic! Thanks IA for this one!

Awesome Trailer: Lincoln

Directed by Steven Spielberg. Starring Daniel Day-Lewis. Let the critics' acclaim begin.

Awesome Series: Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee

Jerry Seinfeld's been doing these videos for awhile now but I just got around to watching them. The first one I saw is the Alec Baldwin one, which is fuckin' hilarious. The others have their embed codes disabled so you'll have to go to the site to check it out. Click here to get there. It's worth your time. If you like to laugh that is.

Awesome Use of Cardboard: Integrated Advertising Agency Promo.

I'm still not sure exactly how they did this -- It's a big like the Daft Punk "Harder, Faster, etc." video where every word was written on a pair of hands.
