Awesome Piece: banksy and the oscars

If you're down in LA, check this out on La Brea at San Vicente. I personally think Banksy is Mr. Brainwash and it'd be the ultimate 'f you' if he wins an Oscar. But, he deserves it.

Awesome Site: the google art project

yes, it is always better to view art in person. it's by far, a better experience and more inspiring. however, for those who don't have access to these museums and may never travel to some of these countries in their lifetimes, this is a great way to share art around the world. now anyone with internet access can see some of the most influential works of all time. click here to check out the site and explore

Awesome Movement for Freedom: Egypt stands up

Technology and social media provided the spark needed to start a revolution and when the powers that be tried to cover it up, coverage still got out. Al Jazeera is providing live coverage over the web and speak2tweet is allowing people in Egypt to call and have their messages spread across the globe despite the government shutting down the Internet.

Click here for live coverage and here to check out the Twitter feed. As of now, it's midnight in Cairo and there are still almost 2 million Egyptians protesting in Tahrir Square. This is simply amazing to see people come together like this for a cause and we're truly being given the opportunity to watch history unfold before our eyes. The revolution may not be televised, but it's still spreading across the world.
